Q?Do you charge hourly or per task?
A.

Most of the time we will charge you an hourly rate as pretty much every single job is different depending on the technology the client has. We will always try to give you an estimate as to how long a job might take.

Q?How long does it take to remove a virus or malware?
A.

Virus removal usually takes between 1-2 hours depending on the level of infection. Our team counts with some of the best removal tools and can get your system up and running in no time. We will also recommend the right tools to assist you in preventing a future infection.

Q?Do you work onsite or take back to workshop for repair?
A.

Most of the time we will work onsite depending on the situation. For certain tasks such as data recovery and other tasks where it may take hours for a lengthy process to finish, we prefer to take the computer to our workshop in order to reduce cost to you.

Q?Do you support older Apple (OS9) and Windows (95, 98, Me, 2000, XP) computers?
A.

We can definitely give it our best shot. If components need to be replaced, chances are they will be very hard or expensive to find. It may not be worth it. We always encourage our clients to upgrade their systems at least every 3-5 years in order to keep up to date with technology.

Q?Can you perform a repair by logging into my system or do you do all your work onsite?
A.

There are a lot of times when we can log in from a “remote” location and fix your system very quickly, however if a part needs to be replaced, we will have to pay you a visit.

Q?Do you sell computers?
A.

Q?How fast is your response time?
A.

Depending on whether we can assist you remotely or if we need to be onsite, we are usually able to assist you the same day. If you are unable to get a hold of one of our technicians the first time you call, you can expect a call back within the hour during regular business hours and 2-3 hours during weekends and holidays.

Q?What’s the best way to keep my data safe?
A.

We recommend that our clients have at least two types of backups for their systems. One local via an external Hard Drive and an online backup in case of theft or natural disaster. Call us to discuss your options. Most backup systems are very inexpensive nowadays.
